Francesco Tomasinelli
He has always been fascinated by nature, especially by weird, neglected animals. He took his first nature photos in 2001,
while studying for his Environmental Science degree at the University of Genova, Italy. In following years, he began to work with various magazines as photographer and author, specializing in less known animals, like insects, arachnids, reptiles, amphibians and others from all over the world. In 2005 he started travelling more and working as photographer on many other different fields. Although he is more specialized in science topics now he works quite a lot as general photographer (mostly travel, people at work, some sports, corporate, events, basic commercial/still life and architecture). In recent years he started to work as nature & ecology consultant and as museum exhibit designer too and this is becoming increasingly important in his activity.
